Institution: Partners HealthCare System, one of Boston’s leading hospital systems and a top recipient of NIH funding. Requirement: Establish an off-campus research node for Partners-sponsored research in direct proximity to the intellectual vitality of the nation’s premier bioscience cluster in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Solution: Forest City crafted a business relationship with Partners that responded to specific requirements for flexibility and timing, and worked closely with Partners and a consolidated design/construction team to create a facility that would support a number of their research programs.
