Gregg Nolan joins Forest City | Boston

Cambridge, Mass. - Gregg Nolan has joined Forest City as Director of Government and Community Affairs for the company’s Boston office. In this position he will be responsible for implementing government, community, and public relations strategies and will also be involved in securing project permits, licenses, and approvals with local governments and monitoring charitable giving and the public perception of new development opportunities.

Mr. Nolan joins Forest City after an impressive and distinguished seven-year career in the political sector. Prior to joining Forest City Mr. Nolan served as one of the top aides to Massachusetts Congressman Michael E. Capuano. In this capacity he acted as the Congressman’s liaison to State Senators, State Representatives, City Mayors, Managers and Alderman in the 8th Congressional District. He regularly met with area constituents and acted as the key contact with federal, state and local agencies. He was also responsible for maintaining media relations regarding the Congressman’s schedule and speaking with local community groups. Mr. Nolan has also held senior-level positions with Congressman Joseph P. Kennedy’s office and Massachusetts House Majority Leader, Richard A. Voke.

Mr. Nolan attended Suffolk University and is the Founder and President of the James F. Donovan Scholarship Fund and also a member of numerous community groups including the Charlestown and Chelsea Boys & Girls Clubs.
