Frank C. Wuest
President

As President of Forest City Enterprises' Boston office, Mr. Wuest is responsible for the management of the Company's existing portfolio and directing all of the company's new business efforts across the various product types invested in and developed by Forest City.  Mr. Wuest has over 20 years of real estate investment, development and capital markets experience and holds a leadership role in several industry organizations including ULI & NAIOP. A former certified public accountant, Mr. Wuest is a graduate of the University of Connecticut (BS) and Harvard University (MBA).


Peter Calkins
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

  Mr. Calkins shares leadership responsibilities for the Boston-based development team, and leads the planning and implementation of commercial or mixed-use projects throughout New England.  Together with other executives, he also evaluates and develops new opportunities for joint venture / partnership relationships and mixed-use development projects. Mr. Calkins has personally directed the development of more than 1.5 million square feet of space at University Park, with responsibility for building design, permitting, construction, and lease negotiation.  Mr. Calkins received a bachelor of science degree with honors from Washington University in St. Louis and a master of architecture from Harvard University.

 
Kathryn Lachelt Brown

  Brown is responsible for all project financing, coordinating the work of corporate finance and legal staff as well as outside counsel. She also serves as in-house counsel for the Boston office's development team and its operating properties. She holds a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of California at Los Angeles and a juris doctor, with honors, from The George Washington University.

 
Michael Farley

  Farley is responsible for managing the Boston office's operating commercial portfolio. He also develops leasing opportunities and negotiates the completion of operating agreements for both new and existing tenants. He received a bachelor of arts degree from St. Michael's College and also attended Loyola University in Rome, Italy.

 
Marjorie H. Baiardi

Baiardi is responsible for the financial operations of the Boston office, including strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting, invoicing, and lender requisitions. She has completed business management and real estate finance coursework at Middlesex Community College and Boston University.


John T. Kiely, Jr.

Kiely manages the day to day operations of the University Park campus, including tenant and vendor relations, lease negotiations, budgeting, and supervision of operations and engineering staff. He holds a bachelor of science in political science from Salem State College.

David E. Finnegan
Director of Marketing

Finnegan is responsible for Marketing Communications for Forest City’s Boston office, and its Science + Technology Group. In this role he is responsible for the development, organization and design of the office's print and electronic communications. He also oversees the work of Forest City's public relations representatives and interfaces with local and national print media to promote the firm's activities. Finnegan holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and an MBA from Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Management, both with a concentration in marketing.

Carin E. Herring
Development Project Manager

Herring oversees the design process for University Park's commercial buildings and is involved in the design, construction, and coordination of tenant interior work. She also manages the work of consultants, reviews drawings and specifications for compliance with project objectives, and secures project permits and approvals from city officials. She holds a bachelor of arts in social work from the University of New Hampshire and a master's in architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design.


Lauren D. Paton, CPM®
Regional Manager

Paton is the Regional Manager for Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York. She is responsible for operations at Forest City’s residential properties, including the residential projects at University Park at MIT. Ms. Paton has more than 17 years experience in all facets of residential property management and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Ms. Paton holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ithaca College.


Shawn King
Director of Technical Services

King has overall responsibility for the management of the IT strategic plan and architectures, including applications, technology, knowledge, and data architectures for Forest City, Boston and University Park at MIT. This includes the development of architectural standards and management of standards review and exception processes. He also collaborates on special projects and task-forces on a company wide basis with corporate ITG.
